About Dr. Clint Kuban

Dr. Clint Kuban started his career in Veterinary Medicine in his hometown of Bethel, Connecticut as a kennel technician. After a hasty trip the the emergency room for his own cat (Rafiki got stung by a bee…) He took in his first technician position in a 24 hour veterinary emergency room in Hartford, Connecticut. There he worked the overnight shift while finishing his Bachelors degree and Post-Bac Pre-Med program from the University of Hartford. From there his journey continued to the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. There he honed his veterinary emergency skills and education, while falling in love with dog training (and Tsunami) at the Penn Vet Working Dog Center. The final 3 months of his time at UPenn Vet was featured in the show “Life at Vet U” on Animal Planet. After receiving his VMD in 2016 he completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at Hickory Veterinary Hospital with a primary focus on emergency medicine. Clint’s journey then took him out to Colorado where he spent 3 years working overnight emergency and a year as Hospitalist/Day Emergency Vet at Deer Creek Animal Hospital.

Noticing a lot of phone calls from people who could not get their pet to the hospital in an emergency, Dr. Kuban was inspired to start CK9 Veterinary and Dog Training Services.

Since launching CK9 Vet has had the opportunity to help hundreds of families in the Littleton/Denver area and beyond. See what people are saying about our services below!
